How it reads you

Every entry gets a reply that fits it.

Not a wall of analysis. Not a dashboard. A few short lines, shaped by what you wrote. Here is one night, for example.

What it heard

Your thoughts, said back to you, cleaner than you wrote them.

“I couldn't sleep. Tomorrow's meeting is looping in my head and I'm rehearsing it instead of resting.”

What's underneath

A pattern, a tension, what you can't see from inside.

“Rehearsing a conversation is a way of trying to control an outcome. The body treats it like the conversation is already happening.”

Sometimes, one small thing

Only when it fits. A vent is heard without advice, and a big decision stays yours.

“Write down the one thing you most want Alex to hear. Put the phone away. Sleep is the meeting prep.”

Length and shape adapt. A fifteen-word entry gets a line or two back. A long, hard one gets more, slowly.

See how an AI journal writes back.

New: Ramble

Say it all in one go.

Talk or type everything on your mind in one go. When a long entry covers separate things, Dayora offers to save each as its own page, with its own reply.

See how Ramble works

One entry, 3 things

This covers 3 different things.

Each page is saved as its own entry, with its own reply from Dayora, its own feeling, and its own place in Journey and your patterns.

The garden fenceThe garden fence is finally standing properly. I spent most of the morning replacing the two posts that had rotted at the bottom. It was one of those jobs I had been walking past for months, telling myself I would deal with it next weekend. The first hole took forever because there were roots everywhere. Once that was done, the rest was easier. I borrowed a spirit level, mixed the concrete and used some old timber to hold everything steady. It is not quite as straight as a professional would make it, but it feels solid. I keep looking out of the kitchen window at it. There is something satisfying about finishing a job that has been quietly bothering me every time I see it.… There is something satisfying about finishing a job that has been quietly bothering me every time I see it.

The job offerThe recruiter called about the job offer this afternoon. The salary is better than what I earn now, and the work sounds like a chance to learn something different. The part I keep coming back to is the commute. It would be an hour on the train each way instead of my short walk to the office. I can imagine reading on the train, but I can also imagine being tired and wishing I was already home. I asked whether two days from home would be possible. They are checking with the manager and will let me know tomorrow. I have until Friday to answer. I want to make this decision based on what an ordinary week would feel like, not just how exciting the offer feels today.… I want to make this decision based on what an ordinary week would feel like, not just how exciting the offer feels today.

Swimming againI went back to the pool tonight for the first time since winter. I nearly talked myself out of going because I could not find my goggles and the evening already felt short. Then I remembered I could just swim without them. The pool was quiet and I had a lane to myself for most of the time. I did twenty lengths, slowly, with a break halfway through. Walking home afterwards, my head felt quieter than it had all week. I had forgotten that part. I do not want to turn this into another big plan that becomes a chore. For now I have left the towel by the door. I would like to go again on Thursday, just for the same unhurried half hour.… I would like to go again on Thursday, just for the same unhurried half hour.

Things Dayora does
that we don't shout about.

Built quietly into the app. If you've used Dayora before, some of these will be new to you.

01 · Voice · Plus

Call Dayora.

Too tired to type? Tap the orb and talk. Dayora opens with something it remembers: “Last time you were wiped out about your sister. Where are you with that today?” Then, it can just listen.

Dayora
Hey. Last time you called, you were stuck on the Alex conversation. How'd it land?
You
Better than I thought. I said the thing about the deadlines and he just… agreed?
Dayora
Mm. That's a big shift.
You
Should I bring up the promotion thing too?
Dayora
While the ground is good, yes. You've been circling it for three weeks.
02 · Memory

It remembers you.

Dayora quietly keeps a handful of facts from your entries so it doesn't ask the same things twice. Always editable. Always deletable.

A Has a sister named Alex· 4 mentions
W Works in product design· 7 mentions

03 · Patterns

Your emotional weather, over time.

Drag across to scrub a year. Patterns surface without you looking for them.

···
Your mood dipped most in February.
04 · AI

It connects dots.

Every fifth entry, Dayora looks across the last fifty and tells you what keeps showing up.

Pattern detected
You've mentioned feeling depleted after calls with your manager four times this month. Each time, sleep got shorter that night.
05 · Email

A follow-up that waits.

Six to twelve hours after a hard entry, Dayora sends you back the question it was already sitting with.

06 · Email · Plus

Morning synthesis.

The day after a heavy one, you wake up to a three-part letter: reflection, today's focus, and a closing line.

07 · People

Your Circle, built from who you mention.

Dayora quietly notices the people in your entries and shows you how you feel around them. No friend graph, no invites. Just your life.

Dayora Plus

Deeper reflection, when you want it.

Journaling, voice journaling, a reply to every entry, Reflect chat and Your Circle are free, and always will be. Plus is an optional layer on top: calls, a morning letter, Deep Self Reports, mirror moments and where things stand with the people in your Circle. It adds to the free core and takes nothing away from it.

Questions

Asked often, answered plainly.

Can I use Dayora in a language other than English?

Yes, and it is free in every language. Dayora can be set to 13 languages: English, Español, Português, Français, Nederlands, Polski, Bahasa Indonesia, 日本語, Deutsch, Italiano, Suomi, Українська, and Čeština. You choose one yourself on the first step of setup, with nothing preselected from your device, and you can change it any time at Profile then Language. The setting translates the app's own screens as well as what Dayora writes. You are also not limited to that list when writing: an entry in any other language is read and stored exactly as you wrote it, and answered in the language you chose.

What is Dayora?

Dayora is an AI-powered journaling app that helps you understand yourself through daily journaling, mood tracking, and AI-powered insights. The core is free forever: voice-to-text journaling, a reply to every entry, Reflect conversations, AI memory, and Your Circle relationship insights are all included at no cost. An optional paid layer, Plus, adds voice calls, a daily synthesis email, Deep Self Reports, and relationship stories for the people in your Circle.

Is Dayora free?

Yes. Dayora's core is free forever, with no credit card required and no trial period. Unlimited entries, a reply to every entry, mood tracking, voice journaling, Reflect chat, Your Circle, and AI memory are all included at no cost. Plus is an optional paid layer that adds voice calls, a daily synthesis email, Deep Self Reports across long time windows, and relationship stories for the people in your Circle. Nothing you already use moves behind it, and there are no ads.

How does Dayora's AI work?

Every entry gets a reply shaped by what you wrote: what Dayora heard, often something you may not have seen from inside, and, when it fits, one small thing to try or a question to keep going. A vent is heard without advice, and a big decision is left to you. Across entries, Dayora detects recurring patterns, remembers facts about you (which you can edit or delete), and notices the people in your life through Your Circle.

What makes Dayora different from other journaling apps?

Dayora combines AI-powered reflection with voice journaling, Reflect conversations, and automatic relationship insights, all in the free core. It doesn't just store your entries. It reads them gently, notices patterns, remembers context, and returns a question to sit with hours later when an entry was heavy. Voice calls come with the optional Plus layer, which is how Dayora is funded instead of ads or selling data.

Is my journal data private and secure?

Nobody else who uses Dayora can see your journal, and your entries are never sold. They do go to the AI providers that write Dayora's replies, which may use them to train their models. Who on the Dayora team can read entries, the other services involved, and what deleting your account removes are all in one place: the privacy policy at dayora.ai/privacy.

Is my journal used to train AI models?

It can be. Dayora may use your entries to train and improve the AI models and features that power it, and the AI providers that write Dayora's replies may use what Dayora sends them to train and improve their own models, under agreements that help keep Dayora free. Dayora never sells your entries. The full detail is in the privacy policy at dayora.ai/privacy.

Can I use Dayora for voice journaling?

Yes. Dayora's voice journaling is 3x faster than typing, and it is part of the free core. You can also start a 'Call' with Dayora on the optional Plus layer, a voice conversation that opens with something it remembers from last time, mostly listens while you talk, and answers when you ask. Every call is transcribed, and you can keep it in your journal.

How does mood tracking work in Dayora?

Mood tracking is simple: one tap marks your day on a five-point scale from Rough to Great, no writing needed. Dayora shows your mood across the year, surfacing patterns (e.g. 'Your Mondays run 40% heavier than the rest of the week') without asking you to look for them.

Can I use Dayora for anxiety journaling?

Yes. Dayora is excellent for anxiety journaling. The AI identifies anxiety triggers and patterns, helps you understand what influences your anxiety, and provides a private, secure space to process anxious thoughts. Dayora is a wellness tool and not a replacement for professional mental health care.

What is Dayora Plus?

Dayora Plus is the optional membership that adds a deeper layer of reflection on top of the free core, and it is what keeps Dayora free of ads and data sales. It adds five things: Call Dayora (real voice conversations that open with something it remembers and save to your journal in your own words), a short synthesis letter written fresh each morning, Deep Self Reports across your whole journaling history, mirror moments that show two things you actually wrote, weeks apart, with a reflection on what changed, and relationship stories that read everything you have written about one person in your Circle and show, with dates and your own words, how things have moved. It includes about 20 call minutes and one report a month, the current price is on the pricing page, and nothing free ever moves behind it.

What is a Deep Self Report?

A Deep Self Report is a long, careful reading of your journal: the themes you keep returning to, the contradictions, the people who recur, and what has actually moved over months rather than days. Every observation quotes your own entries and links back to them, and anything that cannot be verified word for word against what you wrote is dropped. Every account gets a first 30-day report free once there are seven entries: for most accounts its first part, with the rest opening with Plus, and for some the whole report; the longer reads, across 90 days, a year, or everything, come with Plus.

What it is
Dayora is an AI journaling app for the web, operated by Crafted in Context Pty Ltd in Victoria, Australia. You write or speak an entry and Dayora writes back with a reply that fits it: what it heard, what you might not see from inside, and, when it helps, one small thing to try.
How much it is used
More than 13,000 journal entries written, as of September 2026.
What the free core includes
Unlimited entries, a reply to every one, voice journaling with transcription, mood tracking, Reflect conversations, Your Circle relationship insights, AI memory you can edit and delete, letters to your future self, and full export in JSON, PDF, or Word. No credit card, no trial timer, no ads.
The optional Plus layer
Plus is the optional deeper layer of reflection, at 9 USD a month or 72 USD a year (6 USD a month for anyone who joins before 1 November 2026, locked in). It adds voice calls, a daily synthesis email, Deep Self Reports across your whole history, mirror moments, and relationship stories for the people in your Circle. Nothing that was free has moved behind it, and every account gets one 30-day Deep Self Report free.
What happens to what you write
Languages
Dayora can be set to 13 languages, and the app itself follows the setting rather than only the AI: English, Español, Português, Français, Nederlands, Polski, Bahasa Indonesia, 日本語, Deutsch, Italiano, Suomi, Українська, and Čeština. Separately, you can write an entry in any language at all, including ones not on that list; Dayora reads it and the reflection comes back in the language you chose. Your own words are never translated when Dayora quotes them back. Spoken replies on a voice call are English only for now.
Where it runs
The browser, on any device, with no app store and nothing to install.
What it is not
Not therapy, not a clinical service, and not a crisis line. Dayora is a wellness tool that sits alongside professional care rather than replacing it. For urgent support, findahelpline.com lists trained people available 24/7.
