The public Bloom prices below are useful for comparing billing periods. The annual monthly figure is an equivalent, not a monthly payment option. Check the checkout total and renewal terms before subscribing.
Is Rosebud free, or is it a free trial?
Rosebud's help centre announces the end of its ongoing free tier. Its public homepage still contains free-use and trial language. The dated help-centre announcement is the relevant source for the plan change; a trial should not be described as unlimited free access.
The notice says existing entries remain available to export and directs free users to an offer in the app. It does not publish one universal transition price. A third-party guide cannot see the exact terms offered to your account.
Check the AI usage allowance as well as the price
Rosebud's usage guide describes a weekly AI budget that depends on the model and activity. It distinguishes AI processing from stored entries, and describes Bloom and Thrive as sharing core features with different budgets and model access. A plan name or monthly price alone does not explain how far the allowance will go.
Check the usage screen in your account for its reset date and current allowance. This page does not invent an entry-per-week limit, a Thrive price, or a universal unlimited-AI promise.

Compare a free alternative with the features you need
Dayora's free core includes writing, reflections on new entries, voice transcription, mood tracking and journal search. Optional Plus adds deeper features; Ask needs both Plus and access to its limited rollout. The free core is a practical option when ongoing writing and a response are the main requirements.
Compare a free plan against the paid features you would actually use. Switching from Rosebud Bloom's monthly plan to Dayora's free core would remove that particular subscription expense, but it would not provide identical features or identical data practices. An annual Rosebud subscription has a different billing commitment.

Before you change or cancel a plan
Check the receipt to identify whether Rosebud, Apple or Google Play manages billing. Trying another journal does not stop a renewal. Export your writing independently of that decision and check that you can read the files.
Export your Rosebud journal as Markdown, then import it into Dayora. You choose what comes across, and only your own words are saved. Keep the original export as well.
