Rosebud’s free plan ended on 30 September 2026. Rosebud says your entries are not going away, and you can bring them with you. In Dayora, writing and talking it through are free, with no card and no trial clock.

What Rosebud’s change means for you
Rosebud’s help centre gave 30 September 2026 as the date its free plan was retired. It linked the change to a new memory system that costs more to run, and pointed free members to an offer inside the Rosebud app.
The same notice says nothing you have written is going away, and that you can export everything anytime. If you stay, Rosebud’s own site listed Rosebud Bloom at $12.99 a month, or $107.99 a year paid annually, in US dollars, when we checked on 26 September 2026. The offer in your Rosebud app may differ.
Free to write and talk, with no card and no trial clock
Write an entry and Dayora writes back. When you want to keep going, talk it through in Reflect. Both are free, and Reflect has no message allowance to run out of.
Signing up asks for no card, and the free plan has no trial clock: nothing switches off after a week or a month.
Dayora Plus is optional. It adds extras such as voice calls, and you never need it to keep writing.

Step 1: export your Rosebud journal
On the web, open Settings and choose Export under Export to Markdown. Rosebud describes this as a Markdown file of all your entries.
In the Rosebud phone app, open Settings, then Export entries under Data & privacy.
To export a single entry, open it, tap the three-dot menu at the top right and choose Export. Keep your export somewhere you control.
Step 2: import it into Dayora
Export your Rosebud journal as Markdown, then import it into Dayora. You choose what comes across, and only your own words are saved.
Start free from this page and, after a short setup, Dayora opens the import for you. Importing is part of the free plan. Keep your original export too.
Your journal stays yours
Whether or not you ever pay for Plus, your entries stay readable, searchable and exportable. You can download your whole journal at any time from Profile, then Account & data.
Your entries are never sold to advertisers or data brokers, and there are no ads in the app. To write its replies, Dayora sends your entries to OpenAI, which may use them to train its models under Dayora’s agreement.
