What the model does with what you write
Your entries are sent to OpenAI to generate your reflection, your replies in Reflect, and your transcripts. Under Dayora's agreement with OpenAI, that content can also be used by OpenAI to train and improve its models, and in exchange OpenAI provides a daily allowance of free usage that helps keep the free core free. Dayora does not train a model of its own on your writing, does not sell your entries to advertisers or data brokers, and does not share them with anyone else. What it does mean in practice is that your journal is not a sealed room: it is processed by a third party who may learn from it. If that is not a trade you want to make, Dayora is not the right journal for you, and you can export everything and delete your account in one tap.
Does the model change?
Yes, and this page changes with it, because the name above is read from the same setting the app runs on rather than typed in by hand. If they ever disagreed, the build would fail.
What Dayora deliberately does not say is that it runs "the latest" model. That claim goes stale the day a new one ships, and nothing can keep it true. What is true and checkable is that Dayora runs a current, full-tier model rather than a cheaper one, on every feature, including the free ones.
