Dayora now speaks Ukrainian, and Plus is free for 12 months

Why Dayora speaks Ukrainian now

Dayora has always read whatever language you write in. What a Ukrainian speaker could not do was choose Ukrainian as their language, so the buttons, menus and emails stayed in someone else's. That changes today.

The 12 months of Plus are our way of saying that we see what Ukrainians are carrying, and that it matters to us. It is not a promotion with a deadline, and it is not tied to anything else. There is no donation, partnership or campaign behind it. It is simply something we can do.

What is in Ukrainian

• The app itself: the screens, buttons and menus follow your language. A few corners are still in English, and we are working through them.
• What Dayora writes back to you: the reply to each entry, your conversations with Dayora, and the summaries it writes for you.
• The emails Dayora sends you.
• Voice notes: speak in Ukrainian and your words are written out in the language you spoke.
• Your own words are never translated. Write in Ukrainian, in another language, or in a mix, and your entries are kept exactly as you wrote them.

One honest exception: on a spoken call with Dayora (a Plus feature), you can speak Ukrainian, but Dayora's spoken voice is English only for now.

A quiet place to set things down

Some days are too full to think about. Writing a few lines does not fix that, but it can move part of it out of your head and onto a page, where it stops going round.

You do not have to write well or write much. Two or three sentences are enough, and one word on a heavy day is a real entry too. When you save it, Dayora reads what you wrote and replies. Sometimes it simply hears you. Sometimes it notices something you had not put into words. It does not hand you a to-do list.

Over time you can look back: how your mood has moved, which people keep appearing, what keeps coming up. Or you can just write and let it be.

The offer: 12 months of Dayora Plus, free

• Anyone who chooses Ukrainian as their Dayora language gets 12 months of Dayora Plus free. You do not need to prove where you are or who you are.
• It counts whether you choose Ukrainian at setup or later in Profile, then Language.
• It is given once per account. If you later switch to another language, you keep it: the 12 months run to their end.
• No card, nothing to cancel. When the 12 months end, Plus simply stops unless you choose to keep it. Nothing is charged automatically and everything you wrote stays yours.
• If you already have a gift of Plus running, for example from inviting friends, the 12 months are added after it.
• If you already pay for Plus, you are not charged twice and nothing about your billing changes: the 12 months are added to your plan. If you do not see them, write to human@dayora.ai.

How to get it, in three steps

   Create a free account

   Sign up on the web or download the app. No card is needed, and the core of Dayora is free forever.

   Choose Ukrainian

   The first screen of setup asks which language Dayora should use. Choose Українська. Already have an account? Open Profile, then Language, and choose Українська.

   That is it

   As soon as the language is saved, Plus is switched on and a short message tells you so. Profile and the plan screen show it as a thank-you gift, with the date it runs until.

What Dayora Plus includes

For those 12 months you have everything Plus adds on top of the free journal:

• Calls with Dayora: a spoken conversation that knows your journal, about 20 minutes a month. Dayora's voice on calls is English only for now.
• A daily email written for you each day from your recent entries.
• One Deep Self Report a month: a long read across your history that looks for patterns over months, not days.
• Where things stand: a story of your relationship with someone in your Circle, the people you write about.
• Voice notes up to 20 minutes instead of 5, more illustrated portraits, and sending a letter you wrote to someone in your Circle.

The free core does not change and does not depend on Plus: unlimited entries, a reply to every entry, voice notes, mood tracking, conversations with Dayora and exporting everything you wrote. Privacy, plainly

Your entries are private to your account. Other members never see them, there are no ads, and your entries are never sold to advertisers or data brokers.

To write a reply, your entries are sent to OpenAI. Under Dayora's agreement with OpenAI, that content may also be used by OpenAI to train its models. Entry text may also go to one other AI company, TypeSafe AI, to test the quality of Dayora's replies. A few people on the Dayora team can read entries, for support, safety and quality checks, and each access is recorded. If that is not a trade you want to make, it is better to know before you start.

You can export everything you wrote at any time, and deleting your account in Profile deletes your entries straight away. The short version of all this is on our privacy page in plain words.
