Between Us

One question. Two answers. Opened together.

Ask someone close one question. You each answer on your own, and neither of you sees the other's until you both have. Then both answers open at once.

Free for every member. They answer from a link, no account needed.

Today's question

What's the most us thing we do?

Sam

Sunday pancakes that turn into lunch, and nobody minds.

Maya

Narrating strangers' lives on long walks home.

What Dayora noticed

Both of you picked something unhurried, with no plan, where the time together is the point.

An example, with made-up names. Answers stay sealed until both are in.

How it works

  1. 1

Choose one question and answer it

Pick from Dayora's questions, chosen for who they are to you, or write your own. Your answer is sealed the moment you give it.

  2. 2

    Send the link your way

WhatsApp, Messages, email, or any app on your phone. Or Dayora emails it for you. They answer from the link, with no account needed.

  3. 3

    Both answers open together

Neither of you sees the other's answer until you have both answered. Then both open at once, with a short line from Dayora about what the two share.

Questions worth asking

A few from Dayora's library. It suggests ones that fit who they are to you, from light to deep.

  • A partner

What's the most us thing we do?

  • A partner

What's a tiny habit of the other's that you secretly love?

  • A parent

What's a piece of advice from the other that stayed with you?

  • A parent

What do you wish we talked about more?

  • Anyone close

What's a memory of us that you come back to?

  • Anyone close

What's a kindness from the other that you still remember?

What stays private

Nothing from your journal is shared

They see the question and your answer, once they have answered too. Never your entries, your conversations or your Circle.

Sealed until you both answer

Answers cannot be changed once given, and there are no read receipts: you hear when they answer, never when they open the link.

Quiet if it isn't for them

They can choose "Not for me", and you are not told. A question nobody answers fades on its own.

A photo or video, if you like

Add one to your answer, exactly as it is. It opens with your answer, for both of you.

For the people you write about

Your journal is yours alone. Between Us is the one place in Dayora where you hear from someone else: a partner, a sister, a parent, a friend. Once you both have accounts, Dayora can ask you a new question most evenings, or only when one of you asks. There are no streaks, and either of you can pause or leave quietly.

Questions

Does the other person need Dayora to answer?

No. They answer from the link in their browser, with no account. Afterwards they can keep it by making a free account of their own, where their journal is private to them.

Can they see my journal?

No. Between Us shares only the question and the two answers. Nothing from either journal is ever shown to the other person.

Who sees our answers?

The two of you. Dayora's AI reads the question and both answers to write one short line about what they share, and does not write it when either of you has Dayora's AI switched off. As with everything in Dayora, an AI model may also read the question, both answers and that line to check Dayora's quality and safety.

Who can I ask?

Anyone close: a partner, a sister or brother, a parent, a friend. Dayora suggests questions that fit who they are to you, from light to deep, and you can always write your own.

What if they never answer?

Nothing happens to them. The question fades quietly after seven days, and if you sent the link yourself, Dayora lets you know once in case it did not reach them, so you can send a new one.

Is it free?

Yes. Between Us is part of Dayora's free core, for every member, along with unlimited journal entries and a reply to each one.
